FDA Announces Recall for 3 Popular Coca-Cola Sodas Due to Possible Metal Contamination

The FDA categorized a recall of three Coca-Cola beverages on Monday as Class II, which is the second-highest risk category.

Earlier in October, thousands of cans of Sprite, Coca-Cola, and Coca-Cola Zero Sugar were taken out of stores because of possible metal contamination, which can result in internal injury if drunk.

Neither Coca-Cola nor the FDA issued any press release or specific instructions regarding this recall. If you have recalled sodas in your refrigerator, it is safer to return or throw them away rather than drink them. 
A three Coke soda recall has been assigned the second-highest risk level by the FDA. There may be metal fragments in the impacted soda that, if consumed, could cause internal harm.
