FDA Announces Recall for 3 Popular
Coca-Cola Sodas Due to Possible Metal Contamination
The FDA categorized a recall of
three Coca-Cola beverages on Monday as Class II, which is the second-highest
risk category.
Earlier in October, thousands of cans of Sprite, Coca-Cola, and Coca-Cola Zero
Sugar were taken out of stores because of possible metal contamination, which
can result in internal injury if drunk.
The impacted sodas are a Class II recall, meaning that they may have "temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences" or that there is a "remote" chance of major adverse health impacts. 2. The Pharmaceutical and Food Administration. Remembers definitions and context.

What You Should Do
Neither Coca-Cola nor the FDA issued any press release or specific
instructions regarding this recall. If you have recalled sodas in your
refrigerator, it is safer to return or throw them away rather than drink
them.
A three Coke soda recall has been assigned the second-highest risk level
by the FDA. There may be metal fragments in the impacted soda that, if
consumed, could cause internal harm.
Thousands of Texas-sold soda cans are affected by the recall.
